Big Green Return to the Court for Day Two of Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth men's tennis returned to the court on day two of the Farnsworth-Ivy Plus Tournament on Saturday.

"There were some really good battles across the board for the guys today," head coach Xander Centennari said. "This is exactly what we need early in the season, to be tested in long matches on a hot day outdoors. We have some work to do, but the guys are hungry to learn from it and build on it. We've got another day tomorrow to be better."

Junior Peter Conklin defeated Yale's Robert Shymansky by a score of 6-2, 6-3, while senior Charlie Broom outlasted SMU's Jan-Simon Vrbsky, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.

Three of the Big Green's other matches were very close and went to three sets but were won by their opponents.
