NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Dartmouth women's tennis completed day one of the Bulldog Invitational at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center on Friday, playing singles matches against Denver and doubles versus Boston College.
The Pioneers won all of the singles matches, though a number of them were close. Sophomore
Nina Paripovic narrowly fell to Britt Pursell, 6-4, 7-6(3), while seniors
Allison McCann and
Racquel Lyn and sophomore
Nicole Conard put up fights against their opponents.
Against the Eagles, the Big Green won three of their four matches. Conard and freshman
Ashley Hess had a 7-5 win, while Paripovic and rookie
Chidimma Okpara walked away with a 6-4 victory. McCann and freshman
Jennifer Gadalov paired up to defeat their opponents by a score of 6-3.
Dartmouth will return to the court on Saturday for day two of the invite.
