Big Green cruise to win against Yale and Columbia.

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's indoor track & field team won its second home meet in as many weeks Saturday afternoon inside Leverone Field House.

The Big Green bested Yale and Columbia in the annual DYC meet held this year in Hanover. The home team posted 75.5 points en route to the victory, while the Bulldogs were second with 63 and the Lions third thanks to 42.5.

HIGHLIGHTS
Claire Dougherty (4:56.22) and Margaret Tuthill (5:00.58) also accomplished the feat in the mile. Breanna Glover (5:03.87) took fourth for another point.
Cha'Mia Rothwell cruised to victory in the 60m hurdles, crossing first in the final in a season-best 8.45 after running an 8.51 in the preliminaries; the top-two times in the event on Saturday. Anoush Krafian was fourth in 9.23.
Rothwell also took first in the long jump with a 6.03m leap on her second try of the afternoon.
For the second straight week, Julia Valenti won the pole vault as she cleared 3.90m on her second try, the only athlete to even reach the height.
Lily Lockhart was the top performer in the shot put, winning the event with a 13.87m throw on her fourth attempt of the afternoon.
Lockhart also claimed the top spot in the weight throw with a 16.60m toss. Julianna Thomson also added to the point total with a second-place showing in the event thanks to her 15.98m throw.
Zoe Dainton won the high jump as well, clearing 1.68m in a jump-off with Yale's Abrianna Barrett.
