HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis had a 7-0 win over Binghamton at the Boss Tennis Center on Friday evening.
Wins at all three doubles positions gave the Big Green a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
Abigail Chiu and
Chidimma Okpara had a 6-3 victory at the top spot, while the Dartmouth (1-1) pairs playing at the No. 2 and 3 slots both took their matches by scores of 6-0.
The Green won all of their singles matches against Binghamton (0-2) in two sets.
Emily Zhou blanked her opponent, defeating Ashley Granieri, 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 position, while
Jingyi Peng had a 6-0, 6-1 defeat of Kyra Bergmann at the No. 5 spot. Also walking away victorious were Okpara,
Jennifer Gadalov,
Chuyang Guan and Chiu.
Dartmouth will host Brown at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
