HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis concluded its undefeated weekend with a 6-1 win over Brown at the Boss Tennis Center on Sunday.
Allison McCann and
Racquel Lyn opened doubles with a 6-1 victory at the No. 3 position and
Abigail Chiu and
Nicole Conard had a 6-3 win at the top spot to earn the first point of the day. Play on court two was close, but
Ashley Hess and
Chidimma Okpara walked away with a 7-6(2) victory.
Dartmouth (2-1) clinched the match after singles wins by McCann, Lyn,
Nina Paripovic and Hess, giving the Big Green a 5-0 advantage. Brown (1-2) got on the board thanks to a very close win at the No. 3 position, while Conard added a three-set victory on court one to end the match.
Next weekend, Dartmouth will head to Virginia to face William & Mary and Old Dominion.
