Today's Senior … Kota Sakurai, midfielder on the men's soccer team.
DartmouthSports.com: What have your workouts been like so far?
Kota Sakurai: I've been training with a team in Japan four times a week and we sometimes have a game on the weekend.
DS: What is your most memorable on-field team moment?
KS: Winning the Ivy League in 2017 at Burnham Field.
DS: And your most memorable on-field individual moment?
KS: Making a professional debut in the United Soccer League with Toronto FC II

DS: What is the best thing about practice?
KS: Being able to play with my teammates on a beautiful grass field.
DS: And the worst?
KS: That has to be doing the 3-mile interval.
DS: Any hidden talents you can share?
KS: I consider myself a very good FIFA player.
DS: If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
KS: Clayton Molter because I would love to live in L.A.
DS: What are your plans after Dartmouth, as much as you can plan for anything during this pandemic?
KS: I'm hoping to become a professional soccer player after Dartmouth.
