HANOVER, N.H. — The Woods Watch Party is back for week seven with the broadcast of the Dartmouth football homecoming game against Yale at Memorial Field in 2015. The stream on the Dartmouth Football YouTube channel will take place on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 1:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Townline Equipment.
Both the Big Green and Yale entered the game with perfect 3-0 marks on the season and a win in their conference opener. Dartmouth had beaten the Bulldogs in each of the previous three meetings, including the previous year's 38-31 comeback triumph in New Haven led by Dalyn Williams '16 and his 388 yards through the air and game-winning 2-yard run in the final minutes. The Big Green were coming off a convincing 41-20 victory — featured three weeks ago on The Woods Watch Party — at Penn in which Williams completed 23-of-25 passes for 336 yards and four touchdowns with receiver Victor Williams catching 12 of those throws for 213 yards and two scores.
Joining host Tyler Murray this week will be Ryan McManus '15 and Will McNamara '16. McManus, a native of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, was a two-time All-Ivy League wide receiver for the Green, finishing his career third in program history with 172 receptions and fourth with 2,268 receiving yards. The 2015 team co-captain was also twice named to the Academic All-Ivy League Fall Team and an FCS Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star during his career.
McNamara, hailing from Chicago, Illinois, twice was named a unanimous All-Ivy League linebacker and was not only an All-New England selection, but also a finalist for the Bushnell Cup in his senior campaign while serving as one of the captains with McManus. He finished his career with 188 tackles, 11.5 for a loss, and eight interceptions, three of which he returned for a touchdown, a Big Green record that was broken last year by All-American cornerback Isiah Swann.
