The conversation will be on “Building Resilience in a Pandemic”
HANOVER, N.H. — With no intercollegiate contests this fall, Dartmouth Athletics has initiated a virtual speaker series entitled, "Big Green Conversations." The second of these conversations will take place on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. (EST).
What makes these conversations unique is that current student-athletes will moderate the talk consisting of a panel of former student-athletes around a specific topic. Varsity athletics alumni and current student-athletes will share their experiences at Dartmouth and beyond, while offering insights that would benefit student-athletes who are navigating today's uncertain landscape.
The conversation this Thursday is "Building Resilience in a Pandemic." Katerina Dajia '21 (women's hockey) will moderate for the panelists that will include:
The final conversation for the fall will be "Leveraging Your Dartmouth Athletic Experience for Success in Corporate America," moderated by Taurus Samuels '22 (men's basketball) and Sophie Stone '21 (women's rowing). The discussion will take place on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. (EST). Alumni panelists will include:
The first conversation was "Navigating Dartmouth as a Black Student-Athlete." Garrison Wade '22 (men's basketball) and Tola Akinwumi '21 (women's volleyball) — both of whom are the co-chairs of our newly created Dartmouth Black Student-Athlete Alliance (DBSAA) — served as moderators.
