HANOVER, N.H. –
Heather Turner of the Dartmouth softball team has been named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday.

The Laguna Hills, California, native made her first start of the season against Western Michigan and led the Big Green to a 3-1 victory.

A junior, Turner threw a complete game with two strikeouts and allowed only one earned run on seven hits and forced 11 groundouts.

Additionally, Turner made her first appearance of the year against Florida International. Although throwing two-thirds of the final inning, she did have one strikeout.

The Big Green have now had back-to-back Ivy League Pitchers of the Week to begin the season with
Brooke Plonka taking home the award seven days ago.
