USTFCCCA Recognizes Dartmouth Women's Program for Strong Academics

Team honored as well as six individuals for academics.

NEW ORLEANS – The Dartmouth women's track & field program was recognized on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Big Green women's program was honored as a 2020 All-Academic Team. To earn the distinction, a team must post a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the entire year, not just one semester.

Dartmouth was one of seven Ivy League schools to qualify for the honor, posting a cumulative 3.45 GPA.

Additionally, seven members of the team were recognized for the work in the classroom as well as their performance in competition. Seniors Cha'Mia Rothwell (psychology), Claire Dougherty (geography) and Julia Valenti (psychology), juniors Camille Landon (linguistics) and Rachel Ludwikowski (economics) and sophomore Zoe Dainton (Hispanic studies) were all named 2020 USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes.

To be considered for this individual honor, a student-athlete must post at least a 3.25 GPA in addition to finishing the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event, or in the top 48 in any championship relay event, for the most recent indoor season.
