Angelino, Beaupre, Cahalan and Farren Named NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes

HANOVER, N.H. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced Tuesday that four members of the Dartmouth softball team were named 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes.

Junior infielder Maria Angelino, sophomore utility Kelly Beaupre, sophomore catcher Mary Beth Cahalan and junior infielder Kate Farren all received the award from the NFCA. A grade point average of at least 3.5 is required to be eligible for the honor.

This year saw the highest total of All-America Scholar Athletes in the history of the NFCA with over 8,800 from the high school level all the way up to the Division I college level.

The Big Green was also recognized as a team, making the list of programs recognized for their academic efforts.
