The Big Green's goals were scored by junior midfielderÂ
Allie Winstanley and senior defender Mist Grönvold. Both came in the first half of action.

Dartmouth (6-7-1, 1-5 Ivy) struck early and never looked back. Winstanley fired a shot off her right foot from the top of the box 24 seconds into the game to give her team a 1-0 lead. Freshman
Aleena Seales assisted on the goal. The Big Green kept up the pressure and earned six corners in the first half. The second goal came off one of those corners. Senior midfielder
Maddie Mills played the ball into the box and Grönvold knocked it in with a header. The goal came in the 35th minute and the score was 2-0 at the half.

Neither side was able to find the back of the net in the final 45 minutes of play. Merrimack (4-12-2, 4-6-0 NEC) continued to attack but was unable to cut into the Big Green lead. Connors and Hardy combined for the team's first shutout of the season. Connors made five saves and Hardy made two for a total of seven.

Dartmouth returns to the field, Saturday for a home game against Cornell at 4:30 p.m. It will be the final game of the season for the Big Green and it will be senior day for the class of 2022. The matchup can be streamed on ESPN+.
