Dartmouth (3-5-0, 2-5 ECAC Hockey) fell behind early. Yale (6-2, 4-2 ECAC Hockey) scored four goals in the first period of play. They scored their first goal seven minutes into the period and then with 1:09 on the clock they scored their fourth. Freshman goalie
Maggie Emerson made 12 saves and the Big Green put seven shots on goal.
Yale scored three more times in the second period. The score was 6-0 when Messier fired a puck into the top left corner with seven minutes remaining to make the game 6-1. Freshman forward

Kenzie Bachelor assisted. The Bulldogs answered with another two minutes later and the score was 7-1 at the second intermission.
Both sides traded goals to start the third. Yale scored seven minutes into the period and Billing answered less than a minute later to make the score 8-2. Bachelor assisted along with freshman defender
Caroline Appleyard. It was the first point of Appleyard's career. Herrington added an unassisted goal with just five minutes left to play to make the final score 8-3.
The Big Green return to the ice, Saturday, Nov. 27, at home against Saint Anselm's. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
