Dartmouth (6-8-0, 2-7-0 ECAC Hockey) outshot the Eagles 57-10 and junior goalie
Hannah Humphreys earned the win in net.
The Big Green opened the scoring 12 minutes into the first period. Freshman defender
Kenzie Bachelor fired home the puck to give Dartmouth a 1-0 advantage and the team did not look back after that. Hill scored her first of the game just three minutes later and the Big Green took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.
Hill did not wait long to find the back of the net again. She scored just one minute into the second. Herrington and junior defender Geogia Kraus assisted on the play. Two minutes later, Grexton knocked one in for her first collegiate goal to make the score 4-0. Herrington rounded out the second period with a goal late and the score was 5-0 at the final intermission.
Dartmouth scored three more goals in the third. Herrington, freshman forward
Lauren Messier and junior forward
Catherine Trevors all contributed to make the score 8-0. The Eagles sprung out on a breakaway with 5:31 remaining to make the final score 8-1.
