HANOVER, N.H — Dartmouth picked up a 4-2 win over Post, Saturday afternoon at home to close out the first half of their season. Freshman forward

Abby Grexton each tallied a goal and an assist in the victory. It was the third-straight win for the Big Green.
The Big Green took a 1-0 lead six minutes into the first period. Junior forward
Catherine Trevors found the back of the net for her fifth of the season. Junior forward

Georgia Kraus each assisted on the play. Dartmouth (7-8-0, 2-7-0 ECAC Hockey) never gave up the lead after that point and took their 1-0 advantage into the first intermission.
The second period was scoreless. Post (3-16-0, 2-8-0 NEWHA) goalie Kaitlyn Daly made 14 saves to keep the Eagles within one headed into the third. The Dartmouth defense allowed just two shots on goal in the period and the team killed off two penalties.
Action picked up quickly in the third. Junior forward
Celine Pietraszek scored on the power play four minutes into the period and junior forward
Currie Putrah assisted on the play. Just under five minutes later, the Big Green struck again. Fuoco danced across the face of the goal and fired the puck home to give Dartmouth a 3-0 lead. Grexton and senior defender
Lotti Odnoga tallied assists on the play.
The Eagles answered with a goal of their own on the breakaway to cut the lead to 3-1 with 9:31 remaining on the clock. Grexton added her goal just two minutes later to make the score 4-1. She received a pass out front from freshman forward
Tiffany Hill and knocked it home. Post added one more goal late to make the final score 4-2 and Dartmouth came away with their seventh win of the season.
It was the Big Green's last game before the holiday break. They return to the ice, Sunday, Jan. 2, for a home matchup with New Hampshire. The game can be streamed on ESPN+ and puck drop is set for 2 p.m.
