He is the fourth Big Green player in the last five seasons to receive the honor

HANOVER, N.H. — The Associated Press (AP) today revealed its FCS All-America Teams, and Dartmouth offensive lineman Jake Guidone was chosen for the third team. This is the third straight season that Dartmouth has played in which at least one player received All-America honors from the AP and fourth time in the last five seasons.
Guidone, a 6-3, 300-pound fifth-year senior from East Walpole, Massachusetts, who received All-Ivy League First Team and Division I All-New England honors this year as well, started every game at left guard and was equally adept at blocking for the run or pass. He was instrumental in helping two Big Green quarterbacks receive spots on All-Ivy teams this fall for the first time in league history. Wildcat QB Nick Howard was selected for the first team as a running back and traditional QB Derek Kyler made the second team while being a finalist for the Bushnell Cup, given to the league's MVPs on offense and defense.
With Guidone up front, the Dartmouth offense was one of the most balanced and potent in the league, boasting a conference-best 193.7 yards per game on the ground and 212.3 more through the air. And while no team in the circuit ran fewer plays on offense, the Big Green were second in the league in total yards (4,060) to average nearly a yard more per play than anyone in the Ancient Eight.
Dartmouth, ranked 19th in the final regular-season Stats Perform poll and tied for 20th in the AFCA Coaches poll, finished the season 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the Ivy League, earning its record 20th conference crown.
Although Guidone has exhausted his eligibility at Dartmouth, he still has a year of eligibility remaining by NCAA standards and is currently fielding offers from various schools about playing as a graduate transfer in the fall of 2022.
Notes: The Big Green did not have a season in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore did not have anyone eligible for the All-America teams that year … the most recent Dartmouth All-American was cornerback Isiah Swann, who was a two-time first-team member in 2018 and 2019 … offensive lineman Matt Kaskey, who has seen time with the Carolina Panthers since graduating, was selected for the third team in 2018 … in 2016, linebacker Folarin Orimolade was named to the second team and is an active CFL player.
