HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth fell to RPI in an ECAC Hockey matchup at home by a score of 3-1, Friday night. The team's lone goal was scored by junior forward
Catherine Trevors in the first period.
The Big Green led through one period of play. They outshot RPI (6-12-0, 3-6 ECAC Hockey) 8-3 in the first 20 minutes and Trevors scored on a 2-on-1 with seven minutes left to play in the first. Junior forward

Sydney Herrington assisted on the play and the score was 1-0 at the first intermission.
The Engineers scored twice in the third period and Dartmouth (4-7-0, 2-6 ECAC Hockey) was unable to answer. RPI tied the game just a minute and a half into the second and then 15 minutes later they scored again to take a 2-1 lead into the third period.
Dartmouth had three power plays in the final period but was unable to convert. Midway through the period the Engineers notched their third and final goal. The Big Green continued to battle but were unable to convert either of their two power plays that came after RPI's third goal. Freshman goalie
Maggie Emerson was pulled with 50 seconds left to play, but Dartmouth fell short at the end.
The team will look to bounce back tomorrow when they take on ECAC Hockey opponent Union at 3 p.m. at Thompson again. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and TSN.
