Mia Leko ended their U.S. Open journeys on Saturday with both of them swimming in finals.

Weigel was up first, taking 22nd in the 100 free (51.88), touching two-tenths behind an athlete from Northwestern. In finals, he dropped almost half a second to finish in 51.43 to place 17th.

In the 100 fly prelims, Leko made it back in the B final by coming 11th (2:17.52). In the evening, she improved to 2:17.48 to take sixth in her heat, touching over half a second ahead of the swimmer in seventh.
