DURHAM, N.H. – For the first time in over a year, the Dartmouth women's track & field team lined up against outside competition Saturday afternoon at the UNH Pre-Conference Invitational.

In a field of six teams at the Reggie Atkins Track & Field Facility, the Big Green posted 115 points to finish third, more than 30 points ahead of fourth-place UMass Lowell, while just five back of second-place Maine.

The hosts from UNH won with 175 points.

The competition also marked the first for Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country
Porscha Dobson, who made the move to Hanover this past fall.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Making an immediate impact in her Dartmouth debut, freshman Bridget McNally won the 100m in 12.36. Her time was not only just outside the program's all-time top-10 for the event, but also garnered nine points for her team. Sophomore Emma Cunningham (12.58) and senior Kathryn Laskoski (12.60) were fourth and fifth, respectively.
- McNally made another splash in the 200m, winning the event with a 25.24. Laskoski was also strong, finishing third in 25.86.
- Another event win for the Green came in the long jump courtesy of sophomore Emma Cunningham. The New Jersey native finished first thanks to a mark of 18-10.0/5.74m on her fifth attempt. Freshman Lauren Godwin (18-0.5/5.50m) was fourth in her first competition as a member of the team.
- Dartmouth found itself with another nine-point performance in the 400m hurdles with junior Arianna Gragg claiming the top spot as she ran a 1:04.12.
- In one of the first events of the day on the track — and in her first career race for the Big Green — freshman Natalie Shapiro took second in the 1500m in 4:36.93. Sophomore Corinne Robitaille followed immediately after in 4:37.38 to combine for 13 points in the team standings. Sophomore Anya Hirschfeld was fourth in 4:37.86.
- In the shot put, Samantha Stevens (41-0.25/12.50m) finished third with Madyson Buchalski (40-0.0/12.19m) taking the fifth spot.
- Freshman Jamie Tatum claimed sixth in the discus thanks to a 122-4.0/37.28m throw on her fifth attempt.
- Rachel Ludwikowski (18:30.08) and Isabella Chao (18:37.81) combined for 11 points in the 5000m as they placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
- Hirschfeld, Robitaille, Shapiro and Julia Fenerty ran a 4:06.31 in the 4x400m, claiming second and seven points.
