HANOVER, N.H. — The spring may be winding down, but several Dartmouth teams will continue to compete after more than a year of no games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Headlining the events this week is a home meet for the men's and women's track and field teams at Memorial Field, featuring teams from the University of New Hampshire, Vermont and UMass Lowell. The meet will begin at noon with the throws and is expected to run until 6 p.m. Spectators will not be permitted in or around the facility, but
live timing will be available through Lancer Timing.
On Saturday, the softball team will play one more time, this time in a scrimmage at Smith College at 1 p.m. against a Pioneers team that has not played in two years. Again, spectators will be prohibited, but a
live video feed from the Smith Softball Field will be available through Stretch Internet.
The heavyweight rowing team will also be in action this weekend, hosting Holy Cross on Sunday on the Connecticut River. The race is expected to begin at noon, and spectators are prohibited.
UPDATE: Heavyweight rowing is a scrimmage with Holy Cross and has been moved up to Saturday morning.
