RALEIGH, N.C. – The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams opened the outdoor portion of their 2025-26 season on Thursday at the Raleigh Relays, while some student-athletes ventured down to Amherst, Mass., for the UMass Flagship Invite.
Noe Kemper had an outstanding start to his outdoor slate, running an 8:51.9 in the 3k steeplechase. With his finish, Kemper now sits at seventh all-time in program history in the event.
"Great start to the season for the Big Green track and field squads in Raleigh and Amherst. The performance of the weekend was Noe Kemper in the 3k steeplechase. We look forward to the whole squad being back in action next weekend at UCONN. Go Big Green!" Mike Nelson, the Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country, said.
On the women's side, Andie Murray performed well in the 1500m, finishing in 4:26.94. Down in Amherst, Cate Schelly placed fourth in the hammer throw with a 43.82m mark.
Connor Foley and Callahan Fielder stood out in the 5000m, with Foley finishing in 14:17.75 and Fielder clocking a 14:25.88. At UMass, Brad Chosewood finished third in the hammer throw, recording a 51.40m mark.
The Big Green will be back in action on Saturday when heading down to Storrs, Conn., for the UConn Dogfight.
