Both sides went back and forth to start the game. Quinnipiac (17-4-3, 9-3-0 ECAC Hockey) broke through first. They took a 1-0 lead with 8:12 left to play in the period. Dartmouth (8-13-0, 2-12-0 ECAC Hockey) did not back down and the Big Green answered with a goal from Fuoco with 1:25 left in the period. Junior forward

Jenna Donohue also assisted on the play. The score was 1-1 at the first intermission.
Quinnipiac took back the lead 3:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1. The Big Green battled but could not find the back of the net. Dartmouth went 0-2 on the power play in the period and tallied 10 shots to bring their total to 17 for the game. The Bobcats added a shorthanded goal with 4:32 left and took a 3-1 lead into the final period.
The third period was controlled by Quinnipiac, but Emerson stood stall in net, making 25 saves in the period. No side broke through in the third and the game ended with a score of 3-1.
The Big Green return to action Friday night when they take on St. Lawrence at home at 6 p.m. Dartmouth will look to complete the season sweep of the Saints and the game can be streamed on ESPN+.
