HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth (8-15-0, 2-14-0 ECAC Hockey) was defeated by No. 10 Clarkson (19-5-3, 10-4-1 ECAC Hockey) by a score of 4-2 at home, Saturday afternoon. Junior goalie

The Big Green struck first to start the game. Odnoga scored from the point on the power play six minutes into the game to give Dartmouth the 1-0 lead. Freshman forward
Lauren Messier and sophomore forward
Tiffany Hill assisted on the play. The Golden Knights answered just over a minute later to tie the game. The 1-1 score held through the rest of the period and the score was tied at the intermission.
The second period was scoreless for the first 18 minutes of play. Billing finally broke the stalemate when she through a puck at the net and saw it deflect into the back of the net. Junior forward
Georgia Kraus assisted on the play. Once again, Clarkson answered quickly. 30 seconds later they fired a shot past Humphreys and the game was once again tied. The two teams went into the third period knotted at 2-2.
Clarkson came out firing to start the third, but Humphreys was up to the task for the first 15 minutes of the third. The Golden Knights would break through with 4:50 left to play in the game. Dartmouth tried to answer but were unable to mount any successful scoring opportunities. Clarkson cashed in on an empty net with 35 seconds left to play and secured the 4-2 victory.
The Big Green return to the ice next Sunday. They take on Brown at home for a 2 p.m. puck drop that will be streamed on ESPN+.
