HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth (8-15-1, 2-14-1 ECAC Hockey) played to a 3-3 tie against Brown (5-17-3, 5-11-2 ECAC Hockey), Sunday afternoon at home. Junior forward

The Big Green struck first when Bowlby scored seven minutes into the game. Junior forward
Currie Putrah and junior defender
Givanna Foglia assisted on the play. The Bears quickly answered 20 seconds later, and the score was 1-1. Neither side could break through again in the first and the score was tied headed into the intermission.
The second period started slowly. No goals were score for the first 18 minutes of play. Dartmouth finally broke through and took the lead when sophomore forward
Jenna Donohue slotted the puck home from in front of the net off a feed from sophomore forward
Abby Grexton. Freshman defender
Kenzie Bachelor also assisted, and the Big Green held a 2-1 lead headed into the final 20 minutes.
Dartmouth extended its lead to start the third. Three minutes in, Bowlby fired home her second of the day with assists from junior forward
Georgia Kraus and senior forward
Gabby Billing. Brown came storming back after that and scored twice in a span of a minute to tie the game at 3-3 with 13:16 left to play. The two teams then headed to overtime.
The overtime period saw back and forth action. Humphreys made seven saves to keep Dartmouth alive and neither team could find the back of the net. For the first time this season the game ended in a draw for the Big Green.
Dartmouth returns to action with three games next weekend at Thompson Arena. They take on Quinnipiac, Friday at 3 p.m. and then Princeton at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. All three games can be streamed on ESPN+.
