HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's soccer team is set for an Ivy League matchup against the Yale Bulldogs this Saturday night. The Big Green look to build off a midweek victory at home against Hartford and win their first conference match of the season.
Last time out, the Big Green overpowered the Hartford Hawks at home in a 3-0 nonconference win. Dartmouth outshot the Hawks 30-4 en route to a dominant performance.

Costi Christodoulou recorded his third clean sheet of the season, making a pair of saves for the Big Green.
Dartmouth looks to translate its success from Tuesday into another weekend of Ivy League competition. The Big Green are still looking for their first conference goal of the year, but have had success in recent home nonconference tilts. Dartmouth has scored nine-combined goals in their last two non-Ivy League games at Burnham Field.
The Big Green take on the Bulldogs in Hanover for the first time since 2018. Yale picked up wins in the last two meetings in 2021 and 2019, both of which took place in New Haven, Connecticut.
CHRISTODOULOU & DEFENSE CONTINUE TO SHINE
Sophomore goalkeeper
Costi Christodoulou has performed admirably in net for the Big Green throughout the 2022 season.
The South African holds a save percentage of .814, which is the highest in the Ivy League. He has been tested, making 3.89 saves per game, the second-most in the Ancient Eight.
Christodoulou is one of just three keepers in the conference with a goals against average under 1.00. He ranks third in the Ivy League, allowing just 0.98 goals per game.
Dartmouth has allowed just .90 goals per game, the third-lowest mark in the conference. The Big Green have allowed just three goals in their last five matches, including a trio of clean sheets against Stonehill, Holy Cross and Hartford.
SCOUTING YALE
Yale enters Saturday's match against Dartmouth with a record of 6-1-3. The Bulldogs are 1-1-0, with their lone loss coming against Penn on October 1 in their conference opener.
The Bulldogs are undefeated on the road thus far in 2022, with a mark of 5-0-2 outside of New Haven, Connecticut.
In their last conference match, the Bulldogs knocked off the defending Ivy League champion Princeton Tigers on the road by a score of 3-1. Yale followed up with a 3-0 nonconference road win over UMass Lowell on Oct. 11.
Yale is led offensively by senior Paolo Carroll, who leads his team with seven goals through 10 matches. He ranks second in the Ivy League in goals, only trailing Penn's Ben Stitz.
LAST TIME AGAINST THE BULLDOGS
The Big Green last faced off with the Bulldogs on October 9, 2021 on the road. A pair of goals in the final 15 minutes of the match pushed Yale past Dartmouth by a score of 2-0.
Dartmouth and Yale battled in a chippy matchup, as both teams combined for 37 fouls and five yellow cards, four of which were distributed to the Bulldogs.
The Big Green were outshot 9-5 and put two shots on goal, compared to Yale's six.

Dartmouth trails in the all-time series against Yale, 41-36-8. The Big Green hold a large lead in matches in Hanover, with a 23-11-2 advantage over the Bulldogs at home.
