HANOVER, N.H. — The Ivy League announced its preseason poll for the 2022-23 women's basketball season Monday afternoon with Dartmouth picked to finish seventh. All eight programs were ranked in the same spot they held in the final 2021-22 standings.
Defending champion Princeton claimed the top spot with 15 first-place votes and 126 total points. Columbia followed (108), while Yale (85) edged Harvard (81) for third. Cornell (41), who the Big Green upended in overtime on the road last season, trailed fifth-place Penn (77). Dartmouth (32) was seventh and Brown (26) rounded out the poll.

Mia Curtis, who went for a career-high 20 points last season against Princeton. Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach of Women's Basketball
Adrienne Shibles also added four freshmen along with junior transfer
Leiya Stuart, who joins Dartmouth after two seasons at Vermont. Stuart was named the 2018-19 Gatorade Player of the Year in Rhode Island during her illustrious high school career.
Dartmouth is set to play a 28-game slate, beginning Monday, Nov. 7 when the Big Green host Bryant for the season opener. Ivy League action kicks off New Year's Day with a trip to Cornell. Many games will be streamed on ESPN+, and Big Green fans will also be able to listen to home games through DartmouthSports.com.
