HANOVER, N.H. – Aleena Seales and
Grace Martin of the Dartmouth women's soccer team were recipients of the Ivy League weekly awards, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Seales and Martin were crucial for the Big Green in a 2-0 week with wins over Merrimack and Penn.
Seales scored two goals during the week. The Las Vegas native scored the first Dartmouth goal in the 3-2 win over Merrimack on Monday and scored the lone goal in the Big Green's 1-0 victory over Penn, their first Ivy League win of the season. Martin was effective on both sides of the ball for Dartmouth and provided the assist on Seales' game-winner on Saturday against Penn.
Dartmouth is back in action on Monday evening for their non-conference finale as it hosts Colby-Sawyer at Burnham Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the game will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet.
Notes: Seales becomes the second straight Dartmouth player to win Player of the Week and third overall after
Charlotte Cyr earned the award on October 10 while
Allie Winstanley received it on September 12…
Grace Martin is the first Big Green player to win Rookie of the Week this season.
