The contract of Ron Rainey, the Stacy and Nick Branca Family Head Coach of Women’s Soccer, will not be renewed
HANOVER, N.H. — Mike Harrity, the Haldeman Family Director of Athletics and Recreation at Dartmouth College, has announced that the contract of Ron Rainey, the Stacy and Nick Branca Family Head Coach of Women's Soccer, will not be renewed.
"We are grateful for all Coach Rainey has done for the Dartmouth Women's Soccer program," said Harrity. "We wish Ron and his family our best."
Rainey has served as Dartmouth's head coach for the past eight seasons, ending his tenure with a record of 65-51-16 overall and 13-32-11 in the Ivy League. He was named head coach in April 2014 following eight seasons at the University of Iowa.
A national search for the program's next head coach will begin immediately.
