HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth (8-17-1, 2-16-1 ECAC Hockey) was defeated by Princeton (10-12-4, 8-9-2 ECAC Hockey) at home by a score of 4-0, Saturday afternoon.

The Big Green found themselves behind 1-0 early when Princeton scored just under eight minutes into the game. Dartmouth found themselves on the power play late in the first but were unable to find the back of the net. Shots were 11-11 through 20 minutes but the Big Green trailed 1-0 headed into the intermission.

The second period started slowly, but Princeton gained momentum as time passed. They scored to take a 2-0 lead over Dartmouth at the midway point and then in the final two minutes they scored twice to extend their lead to 4-0 headed into the third.

The third period saw little action. The Big Green and the Tigers went back and forth in the final period, but neither side scored and the game ended 4-0 in favor of Princeton.

Dartmouth is back on the ice tomorrow for another game against Princeton at home. Puck drop is set for 1 p.m. and the game can be streamed on ESPN+.
