HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth (8-18-1, 2-17-1 ECAC Hockey) was defeated by Princeton (11-12-4, 10-9-2 ECAC Hockey) by a score of 4-1, Sunday afternoon. Freshman defender
Kenzie Bachelor scored the team's only goal in the third period.
The Big Green fell behind early to start the game. The Tigers took a 1-0 lead within the first 2:15 of the game and then scored twice more in the next five and a half minutes to extend their advantage to 3-0 headed into the first intermission.
Princeton extended their lead in the second period. The Tigers scored on the power play with just under three minutes remaining to take a 4-0 advantage into the third and final period of play.
Dartmouth finally broke through midway through the third period. Bachelor knocked in the puck off a rebound as she fell to the ground to cut the lead to 4-1. Sophomore forward
Jenna Donohue assisted on the play. Dartmouth outshot Princeton 12-5 in the third but could not cut any farther into the deficit and the game ended with a score of 4-1.

Maggie Emerson stepped in in relief midway through the first period. She allowed only one goal and made 29 saves in 51 minutes of action.
The Big Green close out their season next weekend with a road trip. They take on Union, Friday night at 6 p.m. and RPI, Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. Both games can be streamed on ESPN+.
