HANOVER, N.H. – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) today announced its Academic All-District Teams for women's track and field / cross country, and Dartmouth fifth-year senior
Lily Lockhart was recognized on the team from District I.
To be considered, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), have completed at least one full calendar year and reached sophomore athletic eligibility. Lockhart will now go on the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America consideration with the first-, second- and third-team honorees being announced next month.
Lockhart is an environment studies major with a 3.37 grade-point average. She set the program record in weight throw earlier this year with a throw of 19.80m at the Giegengack Invitational. Lockhart picked up All-Ivy recognition during the indoor season after finishing second in weight throw at the Ivy League Championships, earning Second Team All-Ivy status, and was named to the Academic All-Ivy team as well.
The 2021-22 Academic All-District Women's Track and Field / Cross Country Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track / field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
