HANOVER, N.H. – Field Hockey Head Coach
Mark Egner today announced his team's schedule for the 2022 season, which will include nine games at Chase Field.
"As a program we are excited about the 2022 season," said Egner. "Coming off the first Spring season for our roster, it is an exciting time. I think we have some tough matchups and we are all keen to test ourselves against some of the top programs in the country."
The season will kick off with two games in Maine. The Big Green take on the Maine Black Bears on Sept. 2 followed by a matchup with Quinnipiac, at Maine, the next day. Dartmouth will open their home schedule on Sept. 5 against Providence in the first of four straight games at Chase Field.
After the four-game home stand, the Big Green hit the road to New York and begin Ancient Eight play on Sept. 23 at Cornell. They will stay in New York to take on Syracuse before heading back to Chase Field for an Ivy League showdown with Brown to begin October.
Two in a row is the theme for the remainder of the season as Dartmouth hit the road for two games, first at granite state rival New Hampshire followed by a trip to New Jersey to take on Princeton. They will return for two home games in a span of three days with a matchup with Harvard on Oct. 14 and a non-conference tilt with UMass Lowell on Oct. 16.
The Big Green will play their final road games of the 2022 season at Columbia and twin-state rival Vermont. They will host the Bulldogs of Yale on Oct. 29 before closing out the season against Penn at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
