HANOVER, N.H. – Stacy and Nick Branca Family Head Coach of Women's Soccer
Ron Rainey today announced his team's schedule for the 2022 season, which includes a trip to Michigan and nine games at Burnham Field.
"We are excited about both the non-conference and Ivy League schedule for 2022," said Rainey. "Good competition and looking forward to starting up preseason in August!"
The season kicks off at Burnham on Aug. 26 when the Big Green take on Fordham for the first time since 2012. Dartmouth will then travel to Sacred Heart before heading out Michigan for contests against Michigan State and Eastern Michigan. It will be first time the Big Green have faced Eastern Michigan and the first time since 1991 in which they have played Michigan State.
They will return to Burnham for matchups with LIU and Fairfield before hitting the road again to square off with twin-state rival Vermont followed by UMass Lowell.
Dartmouth opens Ancient Eight play against the top two teams from the 2021 season, Brown and Princeton. The Big Green host the Bears on Sept. 24 and follow that up with a trip to New Jersey to take on the Tigers. Dartmouth will come back from New Jersey for a three-game home slate against Yale, Colby-Sawyer and Penn.
The Big Green will close out the final four games of the season at Columbia, at home against Harvard and Merrimack, before finishing the regular season at Cornell.
