Winstanley Named Ivy League Player of the Week

HANOVER, N.H. – Allie Winstanley of the Dartmouth women's soccer team was named the Ivy League women's soccer Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Big individual efforts from @DartmouthWSOC's Allie Winstanley and @CULionsWSOC's Maia Tabion helped their squads to 2-0 weeks and individual honors. Ivy League women's soccer programs are now a combined 27-11-9 in the 2022 season.

Winstanley was a key contributor for the Big Green as they went 2-0 this past week with wins over LIU and Fairfield. She scored the game-winning goal in the 2-0 victory over the Sharks on Thursday evening before scoring both goals in the 2-1 come-from-behind win over the Stags on Sunday afternoon.

Winstanley now leads the team with four goals in just six games this season. In the Ivy League, Winstanley is now tied for first in goals (4) and game-winning goals (3) and is tied for second in shots on goal (13).

The Big Green are back in action on the road on Wednesday evening against twin-state rival Vermont. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the game will be available to stream on ESPN+.
