HANOVER, N.H. – With the season opener quickly approaching this Saturday, Dartmouth equestrian has come in at No. 4 in the preseason single discipline team rankings, as announced by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday. Among the returning student-athletes for the Big Green are junior
Rachel Freer and sophomore
Chloe Terestchenko, who each garnered All-ECAC honors last season (on the Fence Team and Flat Team, respectively). Terestchenko was also the Freshman of the Year in Flat as well.
The Big Green have been preparing all week for their season opener this Saturday, Sept. 24 against No. 1 ranked Lynchburg at Morton Farm.
"We have a young team that is enthusiastic to compete in our first full season of the NCEA," said Dartmouth head coach
Tenley Walsh. "We will continue to prepare this week by riding multiple horses during each practice and fine tuning the details of the flat pattern."
Action on Saturday is set to begin at 10 a.m.
