HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's squash team was defeated at the Berry Squash Courts by N. 5 Yale Sunday afternoon. The Big Green took a point from Yale but fell by a score of 8-1 at home.
Callie Worth recorded Dartmouth's lone win on the day at position No. 8. The freshman made an impressive comeback after falling behind to Yale's Lindsay Westerfield by two sets to open the match. Worth swept the final three frames to pick up the Big Green's first match win against the Bulldogs since 2020.
Claire Aube won the first set of her match against Elisabeth Ross at position No. 1, while
Aubrey Lennon took the first frame of her tilt at position No. 6 against Meghna Sreedhar. Both ultimately fell in four sets.
Chelsea Cho went up 2-0 on Whitney Taylor at position No. 5, but lost her match in five sets.
The Big Green are back in action next weekend at home against a pair of Ivy League matchups. Dartmouth first takes on Penn Saturday, January 21 before hosting Princeton on Sunday, January 22 for Senior Day. Both matches will begin at noon and will be streamed on Stretch Internet.
