HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's squash team was defeated at the Berry Squash Courts by No. 9 Penn Saturday afternoon. The Big Green secured a point at position No. 5, but dropped the Ivy League matchup, 8-1.
Priya Verma recorded Dartmouth's lone point of the afternoon. After splitting the first two sets, the junior took down Penn's Navmi Sharma in four frames to give Dartmouth its first point of the afternoon.
Aubrey Lennon and
Jesse Brownell each forced their opponents to five sets but could not pick up wins for Dartmouth at positions No. 7 and 8, respectively.
Devon Glaser defeated Emma Carter in exhibition competition in five sets.
The Big Green are back in action tomorrow, as they host Princeton for Senior Day. The match will begin at noon and will be streamed on Stretch Internet.
