Women's Squash Falls To Virginia In Opening Round of CSA National Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Dartmouth women's squash fell to Virginia on Thursday in the Round of 16 of the CSA National Team Championships.

Xiang Xiang Liu, Callie Worth, and Maria Clara Ramirez each won games for the Big Green on Thursday.

Ramirez played in the top position for the Big Green and won the opening game 11-7. Despite the early momentum she fell 11-7, 11-6, 11-6 in the second, third, and fourth games.

After falling 11-8 in the first game Liu won the second game 11-8 to tie the match at one game each. She battled through games three and four but fell 11-7 and 11-8.

Worth fell 11-7 in her first game but won the second game 11-7 to even the match at one game each. She fell 11-9 and 11-2 in the third and fourth games.
