HANOVER, N.H. — Read up on the competition for the 13 Big Green teams in action over the upcoming week.
Skiing – Friday, Jan. 20 - Saturday, Jan. 21
The ski team will compete this weekend, but a lack of snow in New England has forced the St. Michael's Carnival to make some alterations to the scheduled events. The Nordic squads will still hit the trails, but the venue has changed to the Rikert Nordic Center in Ripton, Vermont, home of the Middlebury Panthers, while the alpine races have been postponed until Feb. 3-4, which was a scheduled bye week. The freestyle sprint races begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, and the 15K classic races on Saturday will begin with the women at 10 a.m.
Men's Swimming and Diving – Friday, Jan. 20 - Saturday, Jan. 21
The Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team competes against UMass in the Tate Ramsden Invitational. Friday, the opening day of the two-day event, begins at 5 p.m. and the first session of Saturday's action starts at 10 a.m. with the second session following at 3 p.m. Tim Park (200 free) and Alexander Ye (200 IM) earned top finishes last weekend against Yale and Penn as the team returned to Ivy League action. The Big Green won all but one of the 18 events against UMass in the 2022 Tate Ramsden Invitational.
Women's Swimming and Diving – Friday, Jan. 20 - Saturday, Jan. 21
Women's swimming and diving welcomes UMass and Northeastern to Karl Michael Pool for the Tate Ramsden Invitational. Last weekend, Dartmouth picked up a pair of wins over Penn with Zoe Moon's performance in the 200 back and Julianne Jones' effort in 200 IM. The Big Green defeated UMass and Northeastern in last season's Tate Ramsden Invitational with 13 event victories to their credit.
Women's Hockey – Friday, Jan. 20 + Saturday, Jan. 21
The Dartmouth women's hockey team takes the ice at Thompson Arena for a pair of ECAC Hockey matchups. The Big Green first take on the Union Dutchwomen on Military Appreciation Night, presented by Milton CAT, Friday at 6 p.m. Dartmouth then hosts the RPI Engineers Saturday at 3 p.m. To read the full preview, please click here.

The Big Green compete in the annual DYC this weekend at Leverone Field House against Yale and Columbia. Dartmouth is coming off a spectacular performance at the Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational last Saturday at The Track at New Balance. The group of Nils Wildberg, Liam Murray, Mason Childers and Karl-Oskar Pajus broke the program record in the 4x400m relay.
Women's Track and Field – Saturday, Jan. 21
Dartmouth competes in the annual DYC this Saturday against Yale and Columbia at Leverone Field House. The Big Green are coming off two meets at The Track at New Balance last weekend. Freshman Jada Jones picked up three wins at the Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational on Saturday. Dartmouth aims to win the DYC for the eighth time in a row.
Men's Squash – Saturday, Jan. 21 + Sunday, Jan, 22
The Dartmouth men's squash team closes out its home slate this weekend with a pair of Ivy League matches. The Big Green take on Penn at the Berry Squash Courts Saturday before hosting Princeton on Sunday for Senior Day. Both matches will begin at 12 p.m.
Women's Squash – Saturday, Jan. 21 + Sunday, Jan, 22
The Big Green women's squash program is set for its final two matches at the Berry Squash Courts this season. Dartmouth takes on Penn Saturday before a matchup with Princeton Sunday, with both matches beginning at noon. Sunday's match will serve as Dartmouth's Senior Day.
Women's Tennis – Saturday, Jan. 21
Dartmouth welcomes St. John's to Alexis Boss Tennis Center to open the 2023 spring season. The Big Green are looking to avenge last season's 6-1 loss to the Red Storm, who went undefeated in Big East play in 2022. The full preview will be released on Friday.
Women's Basketball – Saturday, Jan. 21
The Big Green take on preseason Ivy League favorite Princeton in search of their first Ivy League win. The program, along with many others around the nation, will honor legendary Tennessee head coach Pat Summitt with the 'We Back Pat' initiative. The full preview will be released on Friday.
Men's Basketball – Saturday, Jan. 21
Winners of three of its last four, the Dartmouth men's basketball team looks to keep the momentum going when the Big Green travel to Princeton on Saturday to face the Tigers. The Big Green are coming off a weekend sweep vs. Penn (75-71) and at Harvard (60-59) in two tight games that went down to the final seconds. The wins improved Dartmouth's record to 3-2, its best mark after five Ivy League games since the 2008-09 season. The full preview will be released Thursday.
Men's Tennis – Sunday, Jan. 22
Dartmouth looks to build on its 2-0 start on Sunday, hosting Binghamton and Siena. Last weekend, the Big Green rolled to two season-opening wins over four-time defending Patriot League champion Navy. Miles Groom, Henry Ren, Alex Knox-Jones and Logan Chang each went unbeaten in singles across both matches.
