BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team competed at the River Hawk Invitational on Friday at The Track at New Balance in Boston.
Jada Jones led the way for the Big Green, picking up wins in the 60m dash and 400m dash. Jones finished the 60m dash in 7.59 seconds, just .01 seconds off her personal best. She ran the 400m dash for the first time this season, crossing the line at 0:55 to claim the top spot. Her time of 0:55 in the 400m dash is in the top 10 in program history.
Joy Enaohwo, competing for the first time in 2023, took fifth place in the 60m dash, finishing just shy of her personal best.
Jaidyn Curry set a new PR in the 400m dash with a time of 57.53 seconds to finish fourth in the race. Curry and
Bridget McNally took seventh and eighth in the 200m dash, finishing with times of 25.40 and 25.57 seconds.
Shelby Richmond ran a personal best time of 25.73 in the event.
Madyson Buchalski took fourth in the shot put with a mark of 12.86m.
McNally claimed the top spot in the long jump with a jump of 5.75m.
Emma Cunningham finished in third with a mark of 5.59m while
Tori Laberge competed in the event for the first time, taking fifth place with a jump of 5.34m. McNally has now won the long jump in four of the five times she has competed in the event this season, including being undefeated in 2023.
Dartmouth will be busy next weekend as the team will compete in two different meets. The Big Green will compete in the Crimson Elite at Harvard and the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite at Boston University.
