HANOVER, N.H. – Juniors
Costi Christodoulou and
Kristian Feed of the Dartmouth men's soccer team claimed the Ivy League men's soccer weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Christodoulou was named the Defensive Player of the Week while Feed earned Offensive Player of the Week recognition.
Both players played key roles for the Big Green on Saturday as they picked up a 2-0 win over Penn to move to 2-0 in the Ivy League. Christodoulou had a stellar 90 minutes in goal, making six saves to earn his first clean sheet of the year. Feed, also playing the full 90 minutes, was crucial for Dartmouth from set pieces. Finishing with one goal and one assist, Feed had the second assist on the first goal before scoring directly from a free kick from 20 yards out just four minutes later.
Christodoulou, Feed and the Big Green are back in action tomorrow evening for a non-conference matchup against Bryant at Burnham Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be available to stream nationally on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet. Single-game tickets are available for purchase through the Dartmouth Athletics Ticket Office.
Notes: This is the second-straight week in which Dartmouth won the Defensive Player of the Week award after
Sam Fenton earned the honor for the first time last Monday.
