The duo advanced past a Syracuse pairing via retirement, but fell to Brown in a super tiebreak
WEST POINT, N.Y. — Lexi Dewire and Brooke Hess, who defeated a pairing from Fordham on Saturday to advance to the doubles quarterfinals of the ITA Super Regionals, saw their run come to an end in the semifinals with a loss to Brown's Phoebe Peus and Lindsey Hofflander on Sunday at Army West Point.
Dewire and Hess clinched a spot in the semifinals with the retirement of their Syracuse opponent and nearly edged Peus and Hofflander, but were outdone in a close superbreaker.
Dartmouth's fall season concludes during the first weekend of November as Boss Tennis Center is the site of the Big Green Invitational, which begins Friday, Nov. 3.
