NON-CONFERENCE WEEKEND
The Dartmouth women's hockey team plays host to Penn State this weekend for a pair of non-conference tilts. The two teams square off at 6 p.m. on Friday evening before a Saturday afternoon puck drop at 2 p.m.
CANNED FOOD / WINTER CLOTHES DRIVE
The Big Green will be hosting a canned food drive at Friday night's game along with a winter clothes drive at Saturday's game.
All proceeds will be donated to local charitable organizations.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green last competed nearly two weeks ago, falling to national No. 3 Colgate and No. 7 Cornell on home ice at Thompson Arena.
Laura Fuoco tallied her first goal of the season in the Friday night matchup against the Raiders, coming on a power play midway through the second period with
Kenzie Bachelor and
Izee Powell picking up the assists.
Dartmouth suffered a 4-2 loss the following day to the Big Red. Powell and Bachelor both scored inside the final three minutes of the third period. Powell scored on the power play for her third tally of the year, and Bachelor scored an extra attacker goal with 17 seconds remaining.
SCOUTING PENN STATE
Penn State enters the weekend with a 6-7-1 overall record and a 5-1-0 record in College Hockey America. The Nittany Lions are coming off a split weekend in conference play against Mercyhurst.
Tessa Janecke has a team-high 12 points, posting one goal and 11 assists. Mya Vaslet leads Penn State in goals with five. Six players are tied for second with three apiece. Brianna Brooks is second on the team in assists with six while Julie Gough, Alyssa Machado and Maggie MacEachern all have four.
Josie Bothun has started all 14 games between the pipes for the Nittany Lions, allowing 35 goals with 329 saves for a saves percentage of .904.
The Nittany Lions are 0-4 against ECAC Hockey opponents this season, falling in sweeps to Colgate and Cornell.

WHAT'S AHEAD
Dartmouth returns to ECAC Hockey action next weekend against Clarkson and St. Lawrence. Puck drop against the Golden Knights is scheduled for 6 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. start against the Saints on Saturday afternoon. Both games will be available to stream via ESPN+ and Stretch Internet. Season and single-game tickets are available for purchase through the Dartmouth Athletics ticket office.
