ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Dartmouth women's track and field alum Cha'Mia Rothwell '20 finished fourth in the 60m hurdles at the USA Track & Field (USATF) Indoor Championships over the weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Competing in heat one, Rothwell took third with a personal best time of 8.06 seconds to advance to the finals later that evening. In the finals, placed fourth with a time of 8.08 seconds.
A decorated athlete with the Big Green, Rothwell finished her Dartmouth career as a two-time Indoor Heps Most Outstanding Performer, a nine-time Ivy League Champion — six indoor (60m hurdles 4x), 3 outdoor, and the program indoor record holder in the 60m dash, 60m hurdles, 200m race, and long jump.
After graduating from Dartmouth, Rothwell competed at Duke for one season. During her time with the Blue Devils, she was named USTFCCCA All-America First Team for the 100m hurdles and USTFCCCA All-America Second Team for the 4x100m, both in the outdoor season. Additionally, Rothwell was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and was an All-ACC First Team honoree in the 100m hurdles.
