STORRS, Conn. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team competed at the UConn Dog Fight in Storrs on Saturday in its lone meet of the weekend.
In the 400m run,
Julia Fenerty took second with a time of 57.15 seconds while
Jaidyn Curry finished seventh with a time of 57.91.
Joy Enaohwo posted a fifth-place finish in the 100m dash, crossing the finish line at 25.58. Curry and
Mariella Schweitzer finished in the top 10 in the 200m dash. Curry finished with a time of 25.58, taking seventh, while Schweitzer finished the race in 25.74 seconds to claim ninth.
The group of Fenerty,
Bella Pietrasiewicz,
Andie Murray, and
Annie Jackson finished fifth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:55.81.
Mia Balestra set a new PR in the 100m hurdles, finishing the race in 17.51 seconds.
Zoe Chafouleas threw for a PR of 44.05m in the hammer throw.
Corinne Ahern claimed eighth in the javelin with a throw of 34.85m while
Madyson Buchalski took ninth in the event with a throw of 33.02m.
Chloe Taylor finished sixth in the pole vault after clearing 3.65m and
Jenin Obeidat took eighth in the event, clearing 3.35m. Taylor is now ninth on the Ivy League performance list.
Autumn Clark claimed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 12.82m.
Maeve Conneely finished third in the high jump after clearing 1.65m, good for sixth in the Ivy League.
