HANOVER, N.H. — Former Dartmouth offensive lineman Jake Guidone '21 signed an NFL contract as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens following the conclusion of the NFL Draft this past weekend. Guidone spent the 2022 season as the starting center for the UConn Huskies as a graduate transfer.
An Associated Press Third Team FCS All-American in 2021 as a fifth-year senior for the Big Green, Guidone earned Division I All-New England honors and a spot on the All-Ivy League First Team in his final season in Hanover as well. He was described as a "Swiss Army knife" by his offensive line coach, Keith Clark, for his ability to play anywhere on the line up front. He even spent time during his career at tight end, the position which garnered him All-Ivy League honorable mention as a junior in 2019 and allowed him to catch two passes as a sophomore, both of which went for touchdowns. Last fall, Guidone went on to help the Huskies reach a bowl game — the Myrtle Beach Bowl — for the first time in seven years.
Dartmouth has had several alums sign as undrafted free agents over the past few years, including defensive lineman Niko Lalos '20 and offensive lineman Matt Kaskey '19, both of whom eventually played in the NFL. Other recent undrafted free-agent signings include wide receiver Drew Estrada '20, cornerback Isiah Swann '20, quarterback Jack Heneghan '18, linebacker Folarin Orimolade '17 and safety Charlie Miller '17.
Guidone will report to the Ravens' rookie minicamp later this month.
