HANOVER, N.H. — Nine members of the Dartmouth softball team were named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes for their efforts in the classroom during the 2022-23 season.

Senior infielder
Maria Angelino capped off a stellar year in the classroom with her third academic award of 2022-23. The native of Fort Myers, Florida also earned Academic All-Ivy for the second straight season and was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.

Kelly Beaupre and
Mary Beth Cahalan represented Dartmouth's junior class as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. The pair earned the honor for the third consecutive year.

Rachel McCarroll and freshmen
Stella Bale,
Lauren Ben-Ezra,
Peyton Kanaly and
Allie Ohde, earned Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the organization's membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,515 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade point average or higher for 2022-23. NCAA Division III followed with 2,369 and NCAA Division II with 1,790. Junior Colleges and NAIA came in with 944 and 666 student-athletes respectively.
