PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. — The Dartmouth men's golf team closed its second weekend of action with its final round at the Temple Invitational. The Big Green concluded the tournament at the 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania ranked 14
th in a strong field of programs.

The Big Green shaved three strokes off their score from the first round on the final day of the tournament. Dartmouth shot 25-over par on Sunday and were led by
Fin Szafnauer and
Alex Gu.
Tyler Brand,
Aaron Zhang and
Justin Lee also took the course for the Big Green on Sunday.

Szafnaur saw drastic improvement from his first round to his second, as the sophomore slashed seven strokes off his Saturday score. He shot 3-over par, recording nine pars and three birdies on the day.

Gu served Dartmouth as the team's most consistent player in Plymouth Meeting, as he shot 4-over par in both rounds of the tournament. His score of 148 tied him for 31
st in a field of 78 golfers.

Brand (+12) closed his first collegiate tournament tied for 47
th in the field, while Zhang matched his first-round score on the final 18 holes of the event. Lee, who competed as an individual, shaved five strokes off his score from the first round.

Drexel maintained its No. 1 position on the leaderboard, finishing the event 6-over par. Rider climbed into second place with the event's best round (281), while Penn rounded out the top three, shooting 14-over par over the weekend. Dartmouth finished Sunday as one of eight teams to record better scores in the final round than in the first.

The Big Green continue the fall season in two weeks at the Columbia Autumn Invitational. The event, set to take place in Lake Placid, New York, will begin on Saturday, Sept. 30 and will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 1.
