HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's tennis team opened the Fall Foliage Fest with matches against Boston College on Friday evening, winning three of five in singles and one of two in doubles.
Lexi Dewire, who recently made a run to the finals at the ITHF Women's Collegiate Invitational, partnered with
Brooke Hess and narrowly edged Boston College's Nada Dimovska and Tola Glowacka for Dartmouth's lone doubles victory.
Freshmen
Peyton Capuano and
Michela Moore, along with
Ameliija Swaffer-Selff, accounted for the Big Green's singles wins. Capuano and Moore won in straight sets before Swaffer-Selff capped the action-packed evening in Boss Tennis Center by defeating Muskan Mahajan in a superbreaker.
Saturday, the second day of the Fall Foliage Fest, pits Dartmouth against St. John's.
