NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Taking on two fellow Ivy League schools in Yale and Columbia, the Dartmouth women's track and field team posted 70 points to win the meet on Saturday at Yale's Coxe Cage.
Madeleine Locher won the 3000m with a time of 9:22.27, which is good for seventh all-time in program history and beats her previous personal best by 27 seconds.
Bridget McNally won both the 200m dash and the long jump.
Bella Pietrasiewicz took second in the 800m race, tying her indoor personal best of 2:10.15 in the event, good for second in the Ivy League this season.
Joy Enaohwo claimed the win in the 60m dash with a time of 7.68.
Daniela Ruelas Lomeli and
Chayse Raymond also advanced to the finals of the event.
Jada Jones took the victory in the 500m with a personal best time of 1:04.14, moving up to sixth in program history in the event.
Andie Murray ran for a lifetime best of 4:49.31 in the mile, taking third.
Emily Levonas and
Natalie Shapiro also earned personal bests in the mile.
Mariella Schweitzer and
Danielle Johnson both made the finals in the 60m hurdles, finishing third and fourth. They both earned PRs and top-10 marks as Schweitzer crossed the line at 8.77 seconds while Johnson finished the race in 8.95 seconds.
The group of
Annie Jackson,
Julia Pye, Pietrasiewicz and Murray won the 4x800m relay while the quartet of Schweitzer, McNally,
Olivia Jelsma and Jones finished third in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:50.22, good for sixth all-time in program history.
Perside Ebengo Yolou won the triple jump with a personal best mark of 11.85m, moving her up to eighth all-time in the Dartmouth record books for the event.
Maeve Conneely won the high jump while Jelsma earned a lifetime best mark of 1.52m.
Julia Reglewski finished second in the shot put with a throw of 13.62m.
